Mini Lesson - Personalized Budgeting
In the ‘Personalized Budgeting’ Mini Lesson, students do some Real Life Math calculating take home pay from gross income after taxes, and are introduced to the 50% (Needs) - 30% (Wants) - 20% (Savings) ratio for budgeting. This lesson is differentiated into three categories: students that just want to work with example numbers, students who will have some financial support from family after they graduate, and students who will be on their own financially (working to support themselves and/or using student loans). This is a perfect lesson for sub days, or days when you need students to work independently.This product includes the Personalized Budgeting Interactive Slide Deck. Estimated time to complete: 1-2 class periods.
