Assignment Choice Board
Students love to have control over their experience in the classroom, and what better way than to offer them choices? How it works: lay out the assignments you want your students to choose from, and link your assignments/websites/videos/etc. Have students choose to complete 1 or 2 from each column.
Included in the slides is a blank Assignment Choice Board template, a blank template with added media types I like to give my students, an example of a completed Choice Board and a Teacher Tech Tip help slide to teach you how to set up links on your choice board. Estimated time to complete: Depends on the assignments you choose to put on your board. The example board took my 10-12 grade Oceanography students roughly 5 class periods to complete.
