Mini Activity - Tutorial: How To High School
In this Mini Activity, older students take questions younger students have about high school and work to organize a tutorial session to mentor them. This is an excellent activity to run at the beginning of the school year when younger students are visiting the school for the first time, and can be modified for use in Middle School as well (8th graders mentor incoming 6th graders). This activity is completed over multiple days; a portion of a class period for the younger students to collect questions, one class period for older students to organize the tutorial (step by step instructions are included), and one class period to do the tutorial.
