Mini Activity - Educational Advocacy

Mini Activity - Educational Advocacy

$2.99Price

In this Mini Activity, students practice their public speaking skills while advocating for changes within a program, or a request for funding. This activity is best used to get students in front of a leadership team to request these changes through persuasive and passionate speeches. I got my admin team to approve an entire class set of everything I needed to run live cooking lessons just because my students argued for why they needed it! This activity takes three class periods; one to introduce the purpose and plan, one to write the speech, and one to practice the speech. Choose a select few to be guest speakers at the next leadership or site team meeting.
